A tibial bone swelling is essentially a symptom of the condition shin splint, which is also known as medial tibial stress syndrome. Here the tissues that attach the shin muscles to the bones get inflamed due to stress and over usage. It can be from improper workouts, flat feet, ill-fitting shoes, or weak musculature as well.
