Tinea Faciei

A superficial dermatophyte infection known as tinea faciei affects only the face's glabrous skin. The infection can manifest itself on any part of the face, including the upper lip and chin, in juvenile and female patients. When a dermatophyte infection affects the beard, it is known as tinea barbae in men. The majority of tinea faciei cases can be treated with topical antifungal medications.
