Tinea Manuum

Tinea manuum is a fungal infection affecting the hands. A type of fungi called dermatophytes causes it. The symptoms are the development of a red itchy, scaly rash with raised rings on the hands. It is treated by using topical antifungal medications. In unsuccessful cases, oral antifungal medications are taken.
