Ventricular Bigeminy

Ventricular bigeminy is heartbeats marked on the electrocardiogram where two beats are close to each other, followed by a pause. This heartbeat refers to premature ventricular contraction. Familial history, heart infections, caffeine, nicotine, drugs like cocaine, increased electrolytes, coronary heart disorder, thyroid disorder, etc., are the reasons for ventricular bigeminy. Treatment is done based on the underlying condition.
