Vomiting Blood

Vomiting blood refers to the regurgitation of the stomach contents mixed with blood or regurgitation of just blood. It is otherwise known as hematemesis. There are many causes for vomiting blood, such as esophagus irritation, nosebleeds, tear in the esophagus, or swallowing a foreign object. The other causes include stomach ulcers, gastritis, or side effects of certain medications.
