Hi Dr.Frazana ,
Does patient has radiating pain from lumbar spine to thigh ,calf muscle and pain.
Is there claudication that mean pts feel pain on walking .How is the finding of straight leg raising test which is done for compressive pathology of spine nerve .
You haven't started the location of lipoma and it's size. Its good to do Ultrasounogram of it's swelling and rule out any compression done by lipoma .Most of the time lipoma are incidentally diagosis during other kind of problem patient seek for !
If the numbness is severe then it would be best for request for MRI lumbosacral done!
