Slept under direct fan after developed catarh and loss of smell

Hello Doctors please help out asap. 4 days ago I slept off forgetting to position the fan to rotate in different directions so it was directly to my face as a result I developed catarh the next day which came with high body temperature and muscle ache. I took some over the counter flu medications and decided on taking malaria typhoid prophylaxis which I usually do every 2 months. I developed loss of smell although other symptoms have all subsided I am still not able to smell. With the widespread presence of covid I am afraid it might be. Please your contributions will be appreciated. Thanks
