Adrenal Insufficiency

Adrenal insufficiency is a medical condition used to describe when the adrenal glands present in our body do not make a sufficient amount of cortisol hormone. This condition is a type of condition called Addison's disease and is very rare. Since the level of cortisol is low, it will lead to fatigue, body aches, and weight loss. This condition can be treated by hormone replacement therapy wherein cortisol hormone is replaced by using doctor prescribed hydrocortisone pills.
