Aflibercept

Aflibercept is a medication used to treat diabetic retinopathy and wet macular degeneration. It belongs to a class of drugs called the vascular endothelial growth factor inhibitor. It acts by blocking abnormal blood vessel growth in the eye that may cause vision loss in people with certain eye conditions. Watery eyes, eye pain, and seeing flashes of light are common side effects of this medication.
