Airborne Contact Dermatitis

Airborne contact dermatitis is acute and chronic dermatitis occurring on the exposed parts of the body, especially on the face, due to the particles suspended in the air. The particle includes fibers, dust, vapors, sprays, gases, and plant materials. Its treatment depends on the cause. Applying emollients and corticosteroids helps a lot. In severe cases, it can be treated with Methotrexate, Ciclosporin, Mycophenolate, and systemic steroids. Avoiding exposure to allergens also helps.
