Bsso

Bilateral sagittal split osteotomy (BSSO) is a surgical procedure that corrects severe malocclusion or misaligned jaws. It involves cutting the lower jaw on both sides and moving it forward or backward to achieve proper alignment. The surgery requires the use of general anesthesia and may require several weeks of recovery. BSSO can improve dental occlusion, alleviate discomfort, and enhance facial appearance.
