Composite Veneer

Composite veneers are composite resins used as thin layers or shells over the esthetically displeasing or carious anterior teeth to restore their esthetic function. They are also used in an otherwise healthy tooth for a smile makeover. There are two types of composite veneers direct and indirect. In direct veneering, the restoration is directly done on the teeth. In indirect veneering, the teeth are prepared, and the veneers are fabricated outside and then restored. Indirect veneers are more fracture-resistant than direct ones.
