Dabigatran

Dabigatran is an anticoagulant that is used to prevent clot formation in the blood. They work by binding to the thrombin molecule, thus preventing the activation of coagulating factors. Deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, etc., are treated with this drug. Nosebleeds, gum bleeds, nausea, gastrointestinal hemorrhage, etc., are its side effects.
