Dobutamin Stress Echo

Dobutamine is a drug that is used to increase the functioning of the heart. In patients who are not able to do exercise, Dobutamine is injected in the veins, and this produced the same effect as exercise produces on the heart, and then an echocardiogram is done. This procedure is done to evaluate the functioning of the heart.
