Duodenal stricture is the narrowing of the upper part of the small intestine (duodenum). It can be caused due to infection in the digestive tract, inflammation, ulceration, traumatic injuries, and malignancies (tumors). It can contribute to mechanical obstruction in the stomach emptying.
