Electrophobia

Electrophobia is the term used to define the irrational fear of electricity. A person with electrophobia experiences a sense of anxiety and fear when they are around electricity in a certain capacity. The phobia can even prevent them from using everyday electronic appliances like refrigerators, toasters, washing machines, etc. Some of the common symptoms of electrophobia include anxiety and fear when around electricity, muscle tension, tremors, excessive sweating, panic attacks, etc.
