Enthesitis

Enthesitis is an inflammation of enthesis, where a tendon or ligament attaches to bone, leading to pain and stiffness while moving. It often occurs in conditions like psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and juvenile idiopathic arthritis. The common spots where enthesitis happens are the heel, knee, hip, toe, elbow, backbone, and the bottom of the foot. Treatments involve non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) to reduce pain and inflammation.
