Exercise Tolerance Test

An exercise tolerance test (ETT) is used to check how well a person's heart functions during exercise. Your heart's function will be monitored using an ECG (electrocardiograph) while running on a treadmill. This test helps the doctor identify the cause of chest pains and diagnose other heart conditions.
