Guttate psoriasis is a type of psoriasis showing small red tear-drop-shaped spots on the skin. It is often triggered by bacterial infection, and in some cases, it occurs due to genetics. The other triggers are tonsillitis, stress, flu, upper respiratory infections, and sinus infections. It is treated by taking medications and phototherapy.
