Hansens Disease

Hansen's disease is otherwise known as leprosy. It is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium leprae causing skin lesions and nerve damage. The symptoms are red skin patches, numbness, and weakness in the hand and feet. It is treated by taking multi-drug therapy.
