Ipv

Polio is a viral disease. Inactivated polio vaccine (IPV) provides immunization against this deadly virus, and it is administered in the form of a shot in an arm or a leg. The child is given doses at a certain age, such as 2 months, 4 months, 6 to 18 years, and a booster dose at 4 to 6 years. If a child gets immunized in childhood, the adult dose is not recommended.
