Jaw Growth

The development of the jaw in children has very little genetic influence. Although by the age of 6 years the development of the jaw is almost 80 %, however, the growth of the lower jaw is significantly prominent at the age of 16 to 20 years. Both upper and lower jaw growth differs from each other. For instance, the lower jaw growth is twice the upper jaw growth.
