Keratosis pilaris rubra is a skin condition where rough, bumpy spots appear on the skin. It occurs genetically, and in some cases, hair follicles become plugged with keratin. It is treated by taking emollients, keratolytic agents, topical corticosteroids, and topical retinoids.
