Nodular Hidradenoma

Nodular hidradenoma is a rare, benign appendageal tumor that arises from the distal excretory duct of eccrine or apocrine sweat glands. It is usually found in adults than children, especially in females. The tumor presents as a solitary, slow-growing, well-circumscribed, freely mobile, firm, non-tender lesions of varying sizes between 0.5 to 12 cm in diameter. The scalp, neck, trunk, and extremities are commonly affected sites. The treatment of choice is the wide surgical excision of nodular hidradenoma with a least 2 cm of clear margins.
