Paraprotein

A paraprotein is a monoclonal immunoglobin or immunoglobin light chain which is present in the blood or urine and arises from the clonal proliferation of the maturated B cells, typically plasma cells or B-lymphocytes. These proteins are associated with the disorders of the kidney.
