Pleural Fluid

Pleural fluid fills up the space between the pleural membranes. Pleura is a protective outer layer that separates our lungs from the chest wall. It has two layers with a space between them known as pleural space. This is where we see the pleural fluid and it keeps the plural membranes moist and lubricated.
