Punarnavasavam is an ayurvedic oil used in reducing swelling and edema caused by various disorders. It helps in treating splenomegaly, sluggish liver, and ascites. It contains dry ginger and long pepper; therefore helps boost digestion and provides relief from flatulence and acidity. It is also used to cure urinary tract infections. In adults, it is taken in a range of 15 to 25 ml after food.
