Residual Refractive Error

After an eye cataract surgery, some patients may not have the good visual acuity that they are expected to have with the surgery. These can be due to residual refractive errors. These errors affecting vision can be caused by preoperative biometry errors, peri-operative positioning and misalignment errors, and changes that occur during the healing process. These vision problems can be corrected with glasses or contact lenses. Surgical correction can also be done to achieve a good vision.
