Resistant Hypertension

Resistant hypertension is a condition where the blood pressure remains high constantly despite taking all the three class of antihypertensive drugs. Underlying medical conditions, sleep apnea, renal artery stenosis, hyperthyroidism, wrong medications, etc., are the causes of resistant hypertension. Treatment is done by lifestyle modifications and adding diuretics.
