Retrocalcaneal bursitis is a type of heal bursitis caused due to inflammation in the bursa present between the heel bone and achilles tendon. Pain in the foot and heels are common symptoms of retrocalcaneal bursitis. Most commonly occurs in people who overuse their heels. a sudden increase in footwork results in retrocalcaneal bursitis.
