Rigid Gas Permeable Lens

Rigid gas permeable lenses are made of durable plastic material that allows oxygen to pass through the lens and reach the eyes. It is also known as gas permeable contact lenses (GP) or oxygen permeable lenses. Since these lenses are made of firm plastic silicone-based material, they allow more oxygen to reach the cornea and retain the shape, which helps in providing the sharper vision. one of the main advantages is that these rigid lenses do not contain water and make of materials, organic materials from the tears do not stick to the lenses.
