Sesamoiditis

Sesamoiditis involves the inflammation of the tendons present in the ball of the foot. The sesamoid bone inside the ball of the foot consists of small bones and tendons attached to them. With overuse and overstress, this portion may get inflamed to cause pain and difficulty walking. One may need rest and anti-inflammatory medications to relieve this.
