Spitz nevus is an uncommon type of mole known as a melanocytic nevus. It is a benign tumor that occurs mainly in children and fair-skinned individuals. They appear as reddish-brown papules or nodules that usually appear on the face or limbs. If the lesion's structure is not uniform, it is generally excised.
