Spongiotic dermatitis is a skin condition where there is fluid build up between the cells of the second layer of skin known as epidermis. It leads to itchy red rashes that can be confined to one site or spread across the body. It may be caused as a result of allergy, irritation, hormonal changes or associated with other skin conditions.
