Tdap vaccine is administered to prevent tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis. It is delivered only to children above seven years and adolescents who are 11 years old. Pregnant women are also administered its dose in the early third trimester to prevent the baby from pertussis. Adults get a booster dose every ten years.
