Transitory Gastric Disorder

It is also known as gastric motility disorder. In the process of digestion, food travels through the digestive tract. During the passage, a series of muscular contractions occur known as peristalsis. In these patients, contractions do not usually happen. As a result, the passage of food to the intestines is not occurring correctly. It is seen in gastritis, stomach ulcers, delayed gastric emptying, stomach cancer, or other gastric disorders.
