Undescended testis is known as cryptorchidism, which occurs when the testis has not moved to the correct position in the scrotal bag before birth. Testicular cancer, fertility issues, trauma, inguinal hernia, and testicular torsion are the possible complications of undescended testis.

Answer: Hi, Welcome to icliniq.com. I suggest that surgical correction should be done to bring it down as low as possible. Reason being, it permits self palpation of testis for early detection of any tumor. Frequent ultrasound is not feasible or practical to think of.
