Urine Cytology

Urine cytology is a test to check for abnormal cells in the urine. This may help diagnose the various types of cancer such as bladder cancer, kidney cancer, ureter cancer, and urethral cancer. A urine cytology test is also done for people who have symptoms of urinary tract cancer, such as blood in the urine (hematuria).
