Vanishing Twin Syndrome

Vanishing twin syndrome refers to a type of miscarriage. In some cases, when there is evidence of more than one embryo developing, the doctor might suggest the possibility of twins. But during later stages of pregnancy, one of the embryos or fetus may become miscarried, and this is known as vanishing twin syndrome.
