Acute Cervical Disc Protrusion

Acute cervical disc protrusion is a sudden-onset neurological defect often referred to as a disc bulge. This occurs due to the displacement of the nucleus pulposus from intervertebral space. It is one of the most typical causes of neck pain and is managed by conservative methods like cold therapy, hot therapy, physical therapy, and medications. In severe cases where conservative options fail, surgical intervention is done.
