Athletic Heart

An athletic heart is a non-pathological condition where the heart is enlarged, and the heart rate at rest is below normal. There is remodeling of the heart in athletes due to continuous cardiac load. This condition is seen in athletes who regularly do exercise more than an hour per day and also may occur in heavyweight trainers.
