Avn

AVN stands for avascular necrosis. It is nothing but death and damage to bones due to a lack of blood supply. It s also known as osteoradio necrosis, where the bone undergoes progressive death and collapses to pieces within the body. Trauma, alcoholism, radiation therapy, and long-term steroid use are some of the causes.
