Bump On Uvula

Bumps on the uvula are also known as cobblestone throat. These are enlarged lymphatic tissue present in the tonsils and adenoids. This tissue may be inflamed or irritated in response to extra mucus in the throat. Bump on uvula may be due to viral or bacterial infections, allergy to grass, pollen, dust, pet dander, and certain foods. However, they are usually harmless and easily treated.
