Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome

Chronic nonbacterial prostatitis is otherwise called chronic pelvic pain syndrome, which is a common genitourinary condition affecting males. There are episodes of pain and discomfort in the pelvis, perineum, or genitalia of males for more than three months. It presents with inflammation and difficulty in urination. It can also cause pain in the abdomen, scrotum, rectum, and lower back. The other symptoms are myalgia, arthralgia, and unexplained fatigue. Taking antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medications, and alpha-blockers helps a lot.
