Corneal Erosion

Corneal erosion occurs when the cell layer on the corneal surface loosens from the layer underneath. People with corneal diseases, dry eyes, or corneal injury are more likely to have corneal erosion. It causes pain and makes vision hazy or blurry. Topical ointments and surgery is used to treat corneal erosion.
