Lean Pcos

PCOS, polycystic ovarian syndrome, occurs as a hormonal disorder causing multiple cysts in the ovary of the women. Lean PCOS occurs in healthy women having normal or being underweight. In lean PCOS, women have irregular periods, blood sugar control, fertility problems, excess facial hair, and acne due to excess androgen levels. Taking Metformin helps to restore menstruation and ovulation in lean PCOS women. According to diet, taking low glycemic carbohydrates with protein-rich foods helps to manage the glycemic load. Eating fatty fish twice a week with plenty of green leafy vegetables and healthy fats helps a lot. Doing cardiovascular workouts with strength training exercises helps to improve insulin resistance.
