Enlarged breast tissue in men is called gynecomastia. It can result from changes in estrogen and testosterone during puberty, certain medicines (antibiotics, AIDS treatment, chemotherapy, anti-anxiety drugs), use of recreational drugs, overactive thyroid, and kidney disease.
