Rhogam Shot

RhoGAM is an injection composed of antibodies called immunoglobulin that help in providing protection to a fetus from its mother's antibodies. The injection is commonly disseminated at 28 weeks pregnancy because it will last for about 12 weeks. It does not pose harmful side effects and is considered safe both for the child and the mother.
