Steroid Eye Drops

Steroid eye drops treat itching, redness, and swelling caused due to an eye infection, uveitis, after an eye injury. They reduce inflammation. Physicians prescribe steroid eye drops after eye surgery to reduce the inflammation. Mild irritation and blurry vision are quite common for a short period after using the drop. These drops should not be used for a prolonged period, and while stopping it, usually physicians recommend tapering it.
