Trichomoniasis

Trichomoniasis is a sexually transmitted infection. It occurs by a protozoan parasite known as Trichomonas vaginalis. It affects both men and women, but women are more commonly affected. Symptoms in women include itching, burning, and a frothy, yellow-green vaginal discharge with a foul odor, while men may experience itching or burning in the urethra and a clear or white discharge.
